More than 35 per cent of people’s New Year’s resolutions this year will be to own their own house according to Wish2getha.Com.
The unique lifestyle website which helps people achieve their life’s dreams through motivational support has revealed the UK’s top 10 New Year’s resolutions.
Love, success and enlightenment feature predominantly in the top10 of answers given by more than 1500 visitors to the website.
Each visitor to the Wish2getha.Com website was encouraged to compile a personal wish list before drawing on the website’s archives of advice and support to help them achieve their life’s dreams.
The most popular wish of owning a house was followed closely by meeting a soul mate (21%), owning / starting a business and learning a new language.
More than 18% wanted to be fitter whilst - rather depressingly - more than 15% still believed they were yet to experience happiness!

Wish2getha.com boss Habeeb Adeokun believes the survey offers a fascinating insight into exactly what motivates the nation.
He also believes that the website can play an important role in helping as many people as possible achieve their life goals.
